I am a product designer based in Shanghai, latest position at a energy solution company as the Head of User Experience. My 10+ years experience spans all phases of the design process. I’m passionate about details and the interactions between design, business and technology.

My career began as a UX designer at HTC and Mozilla Firefox, where I focused on interaction design and optimizing user experiences across various apps, including communication, media, entertainment, productivity, and settings. Working closely with engineers and product managers, I gained valuable insight into product life cycles and development, refining a logical design style that catered to practical, out-of-the-box apps.

Five years later, I moved to Shanghai to join ARK Innovation Consulting, a local consultancy, where I advanced from senior designer to creative director and partner. I led consulting projects across industries such as retail, new energy vehicles, finance, medical, and tech startups. My responsibilities included user research, business strategy advice, digital product design, offline experience, and online-to-offline strategies. I provided design direction, oversaw deliverables, and fostered communication both internally and externally. It was an exciting experience!

In my later role as AVP of Product Design at REinvent, a property-tech startup founded by the ex-Head of Innovation & Technology at Wework China, I was proud to be the first designer to join. The team successfully launched two innovative products within 1.5 years. I led, mentored, and motivated a team of 5 designers, and seeing their growth was my greatest accomplishment.

I enjoy thinking and solving problems, I cherish the opportunity to share a meaningful face to face conversation with people and I am always up for a philosophical discussion or tabletop game invitation. I start the day with a cup of coffee (or tea) and end the day with playing Nintendo ;-)
